Chapter 7 Special Precautions

When the fan is running, it is strictly prohibited to stand at the inlet of the fan, otherwise serious accidents may occur when the air valve suddenly opens.

Except for the switch handle, non maintenance personnel are not allowed to touch other parts inside the control cabinet, otherwise serious electric shock accidents may occur.

During emergency furnace discharge, operators should stay away from the end of the unloading table, otherwise scalding accidents may occur.

When the main heating power is not turned off, it is strictly prohibited to operate and repair on the top and bottom of the furnace, otherwise electric shock accidents may occur.

Workers engaged in loading and unloading operations should receive corresponding operational training, otherwise glass cutting accidents or equipment damage and personal injury may occur.

When implementing welding on the tempering furnace equipment, the computer power and control power must be turned off, and the welding machine ground wire must be placed on the welding component, otherwise it may burn the computer system and cause the wire to catch fire.

During equipment operation, other electrical equipment such as fans, drills, and hand grinders should not be connected to the control power supply, otherwise interference and other control system failures may occur, resulting in production losses.

Effective fire extinguishers must be equipped near the control cabinet of the tempering furnace to prevent electrical fires, otherwise significant economic losses may occur.

Emergency lights must be installed around the tempering furnace to prevent a sudden power outage during production at night and facilitate manual emptying of the glass inside the furnace.
